Multan Sultans have outclassed Islamabad United by 52 runs during the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season eight match at the Multan Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
Chasing a target of 191 runs, Islamabad were all out for 138 in 17.5 overs.
Islamabad, who at one stage were 112-4, lost their last six wickets for just 26 runs.
Rassie van der Dussen top-scored with 49 runs in 32 balls, with the help of five fours and a six.
Pacer Abbas Afridi was the pick of the bowlers for Multan with figures of 4-22 in three overs.
Meanwhile, Usama Mir also dented Islamabad's run-chase with two wickets in one over, which included scalps of Colin Munro and Shadab Khan.
Mohammad Ilyas and Ihsanullah also claimed two wickets each.
Earlier, the home side posted 190-4 in their allotted 20 overs, with the help of fifties by David Miller and Mohammad Rizwan.
Miller scored 52 runs in 25 balls, laced with three fours and four maximums, to provide his side with some quick runs at the backend of the innings. During his impressive knock, the South African also smacked Islamabad captain Shadab Khan for three sixes in a row.
Meanwhile, skipper Rizwan notched up 50 runs in 38 balls which included five fours and a six.
Rilee Rossouw, who scored fifties in the previous two games, added 36 runs in 30 balls. Whereas, Kieron Pollard remained unbeaten on 32 runs from 21 balls.
It must be noted that Islamabad United had won the toss and decided to bowl first against Multan Sultans.
Rumman Raees, Mohammad Wasim, Shadab and Tom Curran bagged one wicket each for United.
Both teams had made one change each for the encounter. Asif Ali was replaced by Abrar Ahmed for Islamabad, meanwhile Sameen Gul made way for Mohammad Ilyas in Multan's side.
